Instagram is a social network that after Facebook’s purchase became even more popular. As a social network, it focuses on sharing images and videos from users and therefore has the option to share pictures and videos on mobile apps on phones and tablets, but not on computers.
Many Instagram users download images on a computer to edit them and then upload them to a mobile device to post them.
This little trick will allow you to post directly from your computer.
We use the Google Chrome browser but you can also use another browser in a similar way.
All you have to do is right-click on Google Chrome to select the Inspect option (or click Ctrl + Shift + I) and the Chrome Console will appear on the right side in your browser.
Above the page you are viewing, you will have the option to choose which mobile device you want Chrome to simulate to see how the mobile device page looks. Select the option that suits you best: IPhone for IOS or Galaxy for Android.
After selecting your mobile device, log in to Instagram in the same window and you will have the option to post directly from Chrome by clicking the plus button at the bottom as you do on a mobile device. By clicking on the plus button in the bottom part, you will first need to select an image or video that has been saved to your computer and which you want to post. You will also have the option to edit the image or add effects if you want.
